Post-treatment precautions

We provide guidance on precautions to observe before and after the procedure for effective treatment and satisfactory results.

Do not spit out any saliva or blood that accumulates in your mouth; swallow it instead. Do not use a straw. (Negative pressure can interfere with hemostasis.)

Apply and remove the cold compress at 15-minute intervals. (Cold compresses must be applied within 24 hours.)

You must brush your teeth, and if brushing is difficult, rinse with clean water or use mouthwash.

There will be some pain once the anesthesia wears off, so it is recommended to take the medication before the extraction and please follow the prescribed dosage.

Please contact a hospital if you experience swelling or severe bleeding, and use a nearby emergency room during nighttime or on public holidays.

Your gums may swell, so apply a cold compress. Eat cooled food, and ice cream is also good.

Please avoid chewing foods as much as possible before the anesthesia has completely worn off so as not to bite your lips and tongue.

You must remove the gauze you are biting on after 2 hours.

You must refrain from drinking, smoking, bathing, and exercising for the time being.
